Dalam mendatangkan profit, perusahaan harus dapat menjual produknya. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan akan sangat membutuhkan peran dari pemasaran yang dapat menentukan strategi yang paling jitu untuk mendatangkan keuntungan tersebut.

Pemasaran akan membantu perusahaan menganalisa, mengaplikasikan dan mengevaluasi metode yang paling efektif untuk mendatangkan profit.

Jika perusahaan tidak memiliki tim pemasaran dalam bisnisnya. Sangatlah tidak mungkin bisnisnya akan mendapatkan profit. Justru sebaliknya, perusahaan terus menghasilkan produk tetapi tidak terjual hanya akan meningkatkan kerugian biaya dalam produksi.

Semakin hari, semakin unik iklan dan cara promosi berbagai produk di televisi, sosial media, hingga secara offline. Pemasaran akan membantu perusahaan untuk menyesuaikan cara beriklan dan bersaing dengan para kompetitor.

Jika perusahaan tidak bisa melakukan pemasaran dengan baik, sangat mungkin konsumen memilih produk kompetitor karena mereka lebih mengenal produknya daripada produk yang kita buat.
